PAGASA Update: Bagyong Ferdie
At 5:00 a.m., yesterday, July 22, tropical storm Ferdie leaves the
Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). However, strong to gale force
wind is expected to affect the Northern and Western seaboards of Luzon.
Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) over extreme northern Luzon will continue to bring scattered rainshowers (light to moderate rains) and thunderstorms (brief by heavy rainshowers) over Metro Manila. The same weather condition is also expected over Luzon and Visayas especially the western sections.
